Monitoring system for temperature in grain storage

The temperature lines are placed in silos and provide continuous data that forms the basis for reliable grain monitoring. They are built for long-term, continuous operation without the need for calibration or maintenance. The temperature lines are installed in concrete or steel silos, and the type of suspension used is adapted to the silo’s design and the customer’s requirements.

Grain watch Silo

This is how it works

Temperature lines are installed in silos and provide continuous data that forms the basis for safe and efficient grain monitoring. Each temperature line consists of multiple sensors with a spherical coverage area of six metres. The volume of the silo therefore determines how many sensors are required. The sensors are positioned with a spacing of 1, 2, or 3 metres.

The temperature lines are designed for long-term, continuous operation and require no calibration or maintenance. They can be suspended in both concrete and steel silos, with the type of suspension adapted to the silo design and the customer’s requirements.

The system is delivered either without pre-terminated cables or as a Plug&Play solution.

The smart interface—via the Grain App or the web—provides easy access to secure monitoring and valuable insights that make grain management more profitable. In Grain App, which is shared by several Grain Cloud products, you can, with full control, remotely monitor the temperature and history of your grain storage. To facilitate integration with other systems, Modbus support is also available.
